The well water test FHA and VA lenders require, with results back in about four business days, well inside a typical inspection period.
Why not just use the health department?
The Nassau County Health Department tests private wells at a good price, but its state lab is often backed up and results can take two to four weeks. Most purchase contracts give you 15 days or less to finish your inspections. If you have the time to wait, the health department is a fine option; if you do not, I can help.

What the standard test covers
Total coliform bacteria, E. coli, nitrates, nitrites and lead, which covers what FHA and VA lenders normally ask for. If you want a wider panel, ask me about other contaminants that can be added.
Where wells are common
Much of western Nassau County, around Callahan, Hilliard and Bryceville, is on private wells. I can take the sample during your home inspection so you only need one appointment.
