Home Inspector in Nassau County, Florida

Nassau County is home for 360 Inspections. Paul Drayton has lived in Fernandina Beach since 2003 and has inspected homes all over the county since 2015, from the island to the farms and woods out west.

One county, three kinds of houses

On Amelia Island you find historic downtown homes, beach cottages and oceanfront condos that live with salt air and wind. Around Yulee, whole neighborhoods of brand-new homes have gone up along the A1A corridor. West of I-95, around Callahan, Hilliard and Bryceville, houses sit on bigger lots with private wells, septic systems and a fair number of manufactured homes. Each calls for a slightly different inspection.

What Nassau County buyers usually need

Older homes on the island often need a 4-point inspection before an insurer will write a policy, and almost every house benefits from a wind mitigation report. New-construction buyers in Yulee get the most from phase inspections and a 1-year warranty inspection. Out west, an FHA or VA loan usually means a well water test, and a manufactured home needs an engineer-signed foundation certification.

One local inspector from start to finish

When you call 360 Inspections, you talk to Paul, he does the inspection himself, and he answers your questions after the report arrives. There is no call center and no rotating crew of inspectors.
